LEGAL ADVOCACY

Free and confidential advocacy services with trained advocates.

Navigating the criminal or civil justice system after a sexual assault can be difficult or even seem inaccessible. Our specially trained legal advocates help you as a survivor of sexual assault through these processes. Our team provides support to help you understand sexual assault reporting, investigation, and survivor's rights. Legal advocates are here to empower you through seeking justice and healing.

Our legal advocates are trained to know the reporting process and work with law enforcement to educate them about a trauma-informed response to sexual assault reporting. We can help you prepare for reporting to your local law enforcement to reduce the risk of re-traumatization.

Legal advocates are able to support you through your court case. We can help you understand the legal terms that can be confusing and can prepare you for what you may expect during the court process. Attending a court case can be re-traumatizing for some survivors and our legal advocates are able to provide that immediate support.
